In 48 hours, Jeff and I will be 6 hours into our 9 hour flight from NYC to Rome.
Holy cow. I've always wanted to go to Italy. Always. Since forever. And it always seemed so unattainable. I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to save the money and go. And even if I did save the money, holy cow, how do you plan a trip to Europe? I mean, where do you even start? How do you know what cities you want to go to and how many nights you want to stay, etc?
It might not seem that hard, but planning doesn't come easily to me at all. (In fact, if it hadn't been for my mom, Jeff and I might have gotten married at the JP.) So for me, planning this trip has been a little daunting.
But I did it. I'll write another post about it, for anyone else in the world who might not know even where to start. I mean, you know, I assume Jeff and I aren't the only ones. Right?
I plan on taking my computer and blogging while we are gone. I'll post some pics and talk about where we go and what we see and, most importantly, WHAT WE EAT.
So maybe you'll want to come along for the ride?
